iWolf
Should I make the lightbar already on the car?And then add lights to it? Or something elseThanks in advanced,iWolf
randomperson139
I don't really get what you mean. I think you make the lightbar part of the model and then add lighst to it in the editor.

EmC-Unit
If you wan't to keep some neurons healthy Connect lightbar to moddel and done lights on it (not like separated)
Guest [SAP]Francis
You can make the car a model and a lightbar a model. Then in the prototype, add the lightbar to the model as a child. Meaning you can have thousands of lightbar models with just one Crown Vic model. All you need is more prototypes.
Ami89E1234
So How Do I Make It Blue Transparent? By Using The UV-Mapping?To make the lightbar transparent, you have to model the 'insides' of the lightbar first. Then, when making the skin, I'm guessing you'll have to set the transparency level lower than 100% opaque. Then UVMap and add ingame. Stan
No, transparency is defined by the Alpha layer of the .dds file 3 colors are used: Black, Grey and WhiteBlack = NadaWhite = reflectionGrey = Transparent
iWolf
Well, I want to download one of Rihis's wonderful lightbars. But I need to change it to blue, how would I do that?

Just looks crappy. Making the skin still counts for making the .dds. I only UVMap once the .dds is made. Lol what the colors mean makes no sense lol. Stan
Strange definition of what you said..."when making the skin, I'm guessing you'll have to set the transparency level lower than 100% opaque. "Did you mention anything about an alpha layers and 3 colors being used in it and the function of those 3 colors?
Hoppah
MikeyPI once made a transparant lightbar. You can find it on the LASD Van in the Los Angeles mod.
