Problem with fire engines in EM3 LA Mod

I'm able to download and start the LA Mod 2.5 for Emergency 3 and everything works fine except that when there is a fire engine or ladder truck on scene part of it becomes blue and it slow the game down. The more truck the slower it runs, to the point that I can't use freeplay because it is so slow. Any suggestions. Thank You.

Open your config file with notepad and search for 'dooclusion'. When you find it make sure it is set to 0 (zero) and save the config file.

Also make sure you turn off all the shadows in the games option menu.

Where is the config file?

Find the program files for the game. It is in the main folder, where you see the mods and the data folders.

i did the config thing and i still have the same problem

I found the program files, but can't find the config file. Does this need to be download, if so I tryed the config file under patchs and the problem is that it says its not a vaild package and won't install.

Already disabled shadows in the in game options menu?

Are you sure you saved the config file before exiting?

If your on vista, disable UAC.
