Guest tymad Posted December 26, 2009 Report Share Posted December 26, 2009 Hi all I wondering if any of you can help! i have made new buildings for the game using sketchup, exported into 3ds - imported to zmodeler. i have done uv mapping in the modeler & exported to v3o. in the editor i create a new building but nothing is showing up in the preview window or in the edit section.all that shows up when i place the item is the default box as if item has not been skinned????just to let you know i have re skinned various items but again back in the editor its showing up as an unskinned item as a box ...now would the problem be in the dds file as in i need to save as dds with certain settings or possibly its something else.i have gone through all the tutorials i can find & followed them to the letter but styill having the same problemAny idea's most welcome..thanks in advancety Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Xplorer4x4 Posted December 26, 2009 Report Share Posted December 26, 2009 Have you edited the prototype, in the editor, to point to the v3o file? The v3o file contains a link to the dds file, and contains all the information on what the model looks like. You probably know the second part already but just stating it in case.
