billyfromhill
You should overclock that 920 and you'll have a kickass system there. Those 920 D0's can hit 4 GHz on air with a little voltage.

Hoppah
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ (3,0 GHz)NVIDIA® GeForce GTX260 (896 mb)4 GB DDR2 RAM2x 360 GB HDDWindows 7 Professional 64 bit NLBought the videocard somewhere in July 2009 and Windows 7 only two weeks ago. The rest of the PC is 2 years old. It runs everything I need great so there is no reason for a new system yet. At least I have Windows 7. I also own a laptop which I bought for my study last September.

billyfromhill
@ Forensics. You should get a 64 bit OS because that 4 GB of RAM is just going to waste otherwise.Does anybody here overclock and/or bench?

billyfromhill
No, why should I do that? So you get better performance for free?
Tian318
So you get better performance for free?true, 64bit works faster. But not all programs have 64bit support. So that's a Big - on that one.Personally, i don't find it worth it.I run 32bits, and got all the speed i need. And on that note, not any 64bit system is faster than a 32bit system

Most 64-bit systems will be faster because they are using 4 GB of RAM. Since they need 4 GB of RAM, it most likely means they are running a better CPU and GPU.
