randomperson139
It's a good idea. I don't think anybody has done an Egypt mod before. What can you do? You might want to make a list of the things that you need help with.
szron
That's very brave to start a new mod. You must be sure that you know at least basics of modeling, UV mapping, etc. Then you should show us few pictures of models and then you could find helpers. Tarek
It's a good idea. I don't think anybody has done an Egypt mod before. What can you do? You might want to make a list of the things that you need help with.I don't think any one has done it before no. I can model and edit pretty much a lot in the map of EM4, I'm no Bill gates but I learn by minute and I usually find things easy and don't give up I will make a list soon, help would be basically with scripts and the models. That's very brave to start a new mod. You must be sure that you know at least basics of modeling, UV mapping, etc. Then you should show us few pictures of models and then you could find helpers.Yes I do have basics of modeling and UV mapping. The problem now though is I've never used Zmodeler before and that's really my concern. I can't seem to export the file to V3O because of some kind of error (Can not find object "hms_body". file:ExportV3O.cpp line:56) Seem to be getting this error on the body, doors and wheels. Imported first as 3DS, exported from both Sketch and AutoMax, I'm trying another model now though.I like the idea!! But make sure you read this.Ah yes I read that, It's very good. What would they have to offer that's neat?Basically it'll be providing a different culture really, I mean the vehicles forces use in Egypt aren't really used anywhere around the world except from few countries. For example we have a small pickup truck with a big box at the back built in where police would get in. It's very useful to transport large numbers of policemen. Usually mods are very similliar (in vehicles) due to that close countries basically use the same vehicles and same way of tactics.Thank you all for your feed backs,Tarek-EDIT-A screenshot of the example i mensioned before, (note : vehicle not finished)

Tarek
Nice truck!! Thank you Moved to EN modding and mod helpOk Thank you, Didn't know I had to post it here The truck looks good Thank you This truck we called the box in Cairo, It usually carries up to 8 policeman at the back and a captain next the driver. My current plans for the policeman is that there will be different types of policemen for example the policemen which fits at the back isn't allowed to carry a gun or arrest people, but can redirect traffic and stop it just in real life. Thanks,Tarek
Forensics
I can see why it's called 'the box'
Commander Rasseru
I think? In that part of the world... Toyota Trucks are very common. Most the Departments might have a East and West mixture of cars. You might have Europe Truck as one thing and then Japanese as another type of truck. Tarek
I can see why it's called 'the box' Hahaha yeah It is really a box I think? In that part of the world... Forensics
When I went to Egypt all I saw was jeeps like these:If we left the hotel we had to be escorted by them. They always had big guns, I think they were called tourist police and they were because a load of tourists had been machine gunned.
