Sirius7dk
I looked at this link http://www.utryckningsfordon.se/ in connection with the thread aboutt a Swedish mod, had a look around their pictures and found this firebus here and researched it a bit.I found a press release (from 2001, and their websites are down so the company seems to have gone bust)It states thatOne major benefit of using a bus chassis is its flexible interior with full standing height for the crew and fire chief, allied to a lower entry and broad doors for easier entry and exit - which in turn improves the working environment. Today, most injuries suffered by frontline fire-fighters occur when entering and leaving their vehicles. With a low boarding height and wide doors, the fire-fighter's working environment becomes far safer. So what do all of you firefighters on the forum think about the firebus and the statement? Here is a few more pictures from when the first fire department received theirs - http://www.arvika.se/rtj/brandbussen_2003.htm
