Batt62
I was hoping to get into modding, but I'm not sure where to start, should I start reskining models, should I start making my own? and If I made my own, what would be easy for a beginner to make? thanks Batt
randomperson139
I would learn to model and make your own models.

martjuh.denB
if i were you i should learn at first re-skinning.So you can learn how a skin is made and how you can make the same.when you change it you know how you can place details on the vehicles.after that i should learn modelling of vehicles.if i were you i should start with trucks because they are easyerthan you can use your experience of re-skinning vehicles and than you can make lots and lots easyer skins for your vehicles.if you need some help with zmodeler you can look at the tutorial section of this website.when you need a little bit more help(for example skinning) i can give you some tips to attach your own made skin to the vehicle. randomperson139
There is a tutorial here. I would recommend using Paint.NET unless you want to pay for photoshop. If you are using paint.NET then you can just open the file after you have unlocked it. You don't have to convert it.
