andrew2007
Hey Everyone,I've started work on a new submod/project: Even More Additional Units! Which builds upon Hoppah's and Shane Green's Submods to deliver a few new units into game play. Each addition aims to bring a further little bit more realism into the game, yet while providing functionality as so it isn't just eye candy. All of the units below are actually based on working units within their respective services and will try to be skinned as close as possible.Release v1.0 BetaThe download for this mod was revoked some time in 2009 due to a number of issues which prevented the mod working in it's intended function. As of February 2013, I have found the mod files and have regained interested in working on this mod in order to attempt to release it.Reported Bugs (v1.0b)Doors Missing - FixedCTDs with DC (Script?/) - Need Log FilesSu2/BST Missing - Working on fixing it.Features VehiclesLAFD Utility Van *Completed*LAFD Dozer TeamUtility Truck DT1 *Completed*Transport + Dozer TP1/TP2 *Not Started*[*]LAFD Field Mechanic *In Progress* 40%[*]LAPD Mobile Command Unit *In Progress* 10%[*]LA County Coroner Special Response Team *Not Started*[*]LAFD Rehab/Air Tender 59 *Not Started*[*]LAPD Bomb Squad Truck *Completed*[*]LAFD Volunteer Support Utility 2 *Completed*[*]LAFD Division 3 *Completed*PersonnelLAFD Division 3 Chief *Completed*LAFD Mechanic *Not Started*LAPD Supervisor *Not Started*Project News*UPDATED* 08/05/10Release v1.0 Beta - 08/05/10All Completed Units Ingame and Functioning - 21/03/10Division 3 Chief scripting started- 20/03/10DT1, SU2 Finished - 19/03/10LAFD Utility Van Completed - 8/11/09Permission Received for Release - 9/11/09Screenshots*UPDATED* 21/03/10Temporarily RemovedProject Credits/ThanksHoppah - Models, SWAT Truck. Guest mrpolice1996
Looks good!-what will the dozer do?-what the rehab/air tender do?-LAPD/CHP command do?-What will be different about the Connor Coroner truck?
andrew2007
-what will the dozer do?The Dozer will act like the original dozer from EM4 if you've ever played with that, only that it will be in LAFD/LAcoFD style markings.-LAPD/CHP command do?It will function like the FBI Command Truck, hopefully with the ability to spawn LAPD/SWAT/etc officers and hold equipment and a handful or so of detainees.-What will be different about the Connor truck? The Coroner Truck will be like the mass casualty unit, but it will handle more deceased persons than the current coroner van does.-what the rehab/air tender do?The Rehab/Air tender will have the ability to transport units in BA, allow units to don BA and also hold equipment and possibly allow units to heal. They're my current plans for the units you mentioned, if they happen to change I'll post a notice regarding it.Thanks! Sorry about my spelling, i wasn't thinking! In the first post it says it builds on two submods - does this mean they will be compatible? Yes, I am hoping they will be - will have to get permission from both authors though.I'm not sure if anyone has worked out how make tracked unit yet.I thought so, but for time being it can function as the standard Dozer - then I can look into any relevant scripting.
