Firefighter5
i was wandering if there was a way for me to save all of the game files onto a flash drive and transfer it to my new computer instead of buying a whole new game and then redown loading the rest so if anyone could let me know that would be great! thanks
Joopjr
Put these files on your Flash Drive:C:\Program Files\sixteen tons entertainment\Emergency 4\Data\SaveC:\Program Files\sixteen tons entertainment\Emergency 4\ModsC:\Program Files\sixteen tons entertainment\Emergency 4\em4.cfg (if you edited it)(Not sure if those 3 are the only you need)You will only need the mod directory if you only want the LA mod files etc.Install Emergency on your new pc.Paste the flash drive files in the emergency directory. Xplorer4x4
Hmm better yet, go to Start0>programs->Sixten Tons(or Wizzard Works)-?Emergencey 4(or 911FR etc) and find the mod installer. Open it. Now click each line listed and click make package. Then you can install them with 2 clicks rather then diging through a bunch of files. Xplorer4x4
You can easily install everything on Vista and then upgrade to win 7 so long as there both 32 bit or both 64 bit editions. If you dont know then, dont worry they should both be 32 most likley.

Xplorer4x4
"it" says it all, Vista is 64 bit or 7 is 64 bit? Doesnt matter really. Point is you cant upgrade a 32 bit os to a 64 bit os. As long as you keep that mind you will be fine.

FInn Rescue 12
This post is older one but I am at that point where I have transferred files to dell external hard drive and tried to put in the New Computer Windows 7, Dell XPS 420 64 bit Q9400, 8Gigs of ram video card GTS 450. I put the files in programs 86 folder to no avail. I would have done a clean install but I have missed placed my Em4 and EM3 Disc. The funny think is I am able to play this from the external drive Both EM4 and Em3. Is any think I might have missed thanks.
