Indianapolis Colts Fire Department

While technically Indianapolis Fire Department Station 13 is "First Due at the Dome," local Colts fans have recently created two incredible displays of team pride. The Colts Blue Crew's Engine #18 and The Colts Code Blue Fanbulance makeup the Colts Fire Department.

Colts Fanbulance - Ford

This refurbished ambulance had a previous life as a Rural/Metro ALS/BLS transport. However, its destiny was to become the ultimate Colts tailgating vehicle. A side compartment was customized to serve as a keg cooler with taps inside and outside of this rig. Mini field goal posts are extended up each game from the top of this truck to let everyone know where some serious Colts fans are located. The Fanbulance's first game was November 16, 2003.

Colts Fanbulance - Ford/Wheeled Coach

The Fanbulance sports a DirectTV satellite dish and a custom interior with TV to catch all the pre-game scoop and to entertain younger fans.

Engine 18 - 1970 Mack CF-608F Pumper #1108 - 1000gpm/500gal

In late 2001, the founding members of the the Indianapolis Colts fanclub "The Blue Crew" were looking for a more expressive way to tailgate and cheer on their Colts at games and public events. Engine 18 is now present at all Colts home games. It's original hose bed was replaced with a wooden walkway for parade puposes.

Pink fire engines are sometimes used in gay pride carnivals.

jaj ! No, A pink fire truck is a hallmark of the Pink Ribbon Tour, a nationwide effort by firefighters, police officers and community leaders to support those who are battling breast cancer and to educate others about the disease.

Pink Fire Engine Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service

This Merc Water Tender is owned by Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service and has been covered by a pink film to take part in the 2009 Manchester Gay Pride Parade. This is to demonstrate that the service is committed to diversity. After the event, the film will be removed and the vehicle returned to its original colour.

Note the 'saucy' advert for free smoke alarms.

Copyright to photographer, as mentioned on pic!

This picture shows a CP-OPS of the civil protection of Belgium. Used here at a train disaster in Halle, near Brussels.

CP-OPS is the name for the command center, which organises and coordinates the rescue efforts.

Ahead of it is a van which is equipped with communication equipment, here used for communication between the CP/OPS at the scene and the regional crisis centre at the capital of the province, where the governor and the heads of emrgency are assembled.
