Help with adding commands to vehicles

Ok so I added the Air Horn script to all my cars in the editor but how do I save it. I went to quit after adding it but when I started freeplay it wasnt there, help. Also am I doing this right? Heres how I do it:

1. I open 911:FR Editor

2. I load the L.A. Mod 1.9

3. I select a vehicle and I click on properties

4. I select the new command and press add command

5. I add it to the vehicles I want

And I dont know what to do after that

You have to go to the editor and had the command. The new command(s) should show up automatically in the list of available commands, but wont automatically be assigned.

For example, you can go to unit.xml and add the Jaws of Life in the equipment section, but if you dont go in the editor, edit traits, and check the box for Jaws of Life, they wont be in the vehicle.
