I have tried to hit the red flashing box with swat members and an engineer?That depends what flashing red box you are refering to. There are two in this mission. One is on the site of the drug gang itself, but it doesn't work. There is another one in a building north of the northern gate. Two gangsters are guarding the building where you can find the button. A fire fighter needs to open the door with an axe, then a police officer can toggle the switch to open the gate.
