Ami89E1234 Posted December 14, 2009 Report Share Posted December 14, 2009 You do NOT HAVE to buy Zmodeler2. it is optional; however, if you want to export/import models you have toYou can also use Maya/XSI/3DSMax to model since Zmodeler2 can import .3ds files and Zmodeler is the only known program to export to .v3o, which is the file extension required by EM3/EM4. Would not recommend using SketchUp because the models are limited and it costs $500 for the Pro version which lets you export to .3ds and once you do the models/skins are VERY screwed up in Zmodeler.
