Guest Jumprope Posted November 9, 2009 Report Share Posted November 9, 2009 Dog van looks spot on.You know how it has "Dog Section" stencilled on the window?Well, the Vauxhall Zafira should have "Patrol Supervisor" stencilled on over two lines aswell.The Zafira is a single crewed vehicle used by the 33, which is a sergeant who is responsible for supervising the response team and going to any critical incidents etc. There is only 1 per team. In most south london boroughs this means, 1 zafira per borough as team all parade from one site. It is not a response vehicle. It has a special MDT variety on board which allows the supervisor to check on what all other units are dealing with and to assign calls to them.
