Handsup!
Great Job! Any chance BTP are going to have a unit or two in this mod?I have a skin to replace one of the roads policing officers with a BTP officer if you'd like it.I thought it was just Met police in London but okay. It's very complicated.Inside London, there's a city called 'City of London', which is actually separate from London; it has its own council, etc. It's something to do with the Roman empire I believe. Met Police probably do mutual aid there sometimes but since it's its own thing it has a police force.EDIT: Thanks for merging it admin! DeltaEcho-99
Hats off to all working on this Mod, it's a brilliant Mod and all the hard work is appreciated by everyone on here. It would be fantastic to see some BTP units on the next release, within London there is the Met, City London Police and BTP. Would be great to see all three working together as they do in real life. Can't wait for this.
jim
British transport police are there to police the train network and underground network around the country they have one of the smallest police forces and cover one of the largest force areas in the country. City of London police are there to protect the financial district of UK they require support from the met polices armed response units, mounted units and other support units. hope this helps anyone. Also love this mod by far the best UK based mod out there its nice to have a mod that develops over time to keep players on the edge of there keyboards hopefully this mod comes out soon but don't rush the excellent work im sure we would all love a polished mod rather then one that's been given out to early. All the best Jimmy Clancy Emergency Planning Officer.
DeltaEcho-99
Being associated to BTP I'm always going to be slightly biased I thought a cool addition to the Mod could be the BTPs Emergency Response Unit (ERU) which is practically a fire truck with police livery. These vehicles support the whole of London's Underground, Overground, Docklands Light Railway and Tramlink. They're driven by 'blue light' trained police drivers who respond to incidents where public safety is at risk such as obstructions on the tracks, broken down trains, person(s) under a train and other emergency response and recovery situations on the railway. They carry equipment to fix track, signals, and more. Video of this vehicle: www.youtube.com/watch?v=pAM5oMSVlQg BTP may be a small force in comparison to the MET, however, they play such a large part of daily life in London with London's large railway network. They also field a large variety of specialist units such as their own firearms officers, public order units, dog handlers and CBRN response teams. It would be great to see some BTP units in the upcoming mod.

Are smaller stations mainly staffed with PCSOs (Who seem to be basically performing the role of regular officers without the power of arrest; they carry leg restraints for god's sake) because they're cheaper than a normal officer? JackSWAS
Can I ask, will City of London Police have their red and white chequered hats? Also I cannot wait for this mod! Will we continue seeing the Jam Sandwich Units or is it purely battenberg? Also, is the JRU Car a Volvo XC70? Another question (sorry if I'm asking too much) will there be Robbery Squad Vehicles? Another question (sorry if I'm asking too much) will there be Robbery Squad Vehicles? Can't answer for what's in the mod, but the JRU do use XC70s. There wouldn't be much benefit adding a specified JRU vehicle other than for those wanting complete realism. The JRU is a normal FRU, just working alongside the Police directly. DeltaEcho-99
In reply to Handsup!: I'm not a PCSO. In relation to your question, have a look at BTP's website, click on the top bar where it says 'Local BTP Teams' then select your area on the left then under 'Our Team' title. This will show you what specific post has in relation to Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPT) PC's, PCSO's etc. PCSO's make up part of NPT's, however, BTP also has Response teams which are officers who patrol in vehicles, who patrol railway depot's/property, cover unmanned stations, support NPT's at manned stations and respond to calls using visual and audible equipment (V&A) 'blues n two's' if required. PCSO's within BTP are trained and permitted to carry handcuffs and leg restraints but not baton or incapacitant spray, they also have limited powers to detain persons for certain offences until arrival of PC's. Yes, they do have the red & white chequers. Yes, there are still several ‘jam sandwich’ units in the mod. Yes, you are correct; the game icon does show an XC70. And finally…..I’m afraid that ones a no! As I don’t have any plans to introduce robbery squad cars or personnel. And for those asking about BTP units, yes, there are a couple of ‘response cars’ in the mod and I’ll post some images when I have the time. Alex Davis
In the Copenhagen mod I love the fact that the police can change uniform from vehicles. I would be incredible if we were able to change our officers into hi-vis jackets from the vehicle by clicking a button on the 'control panel' -the commands found on both vehicles and useable peds. Perhaps on an accident scene officers and pcsos may need to be more visible or while on patrol at night. This would really inject more realism into the game. Copenhagen mods does it brilliantly; you guys can too of course. Good luck on the project. Really hope my ideas are taken into consideration. I would be happy to re-skin some hi-vis jackets from met police to ones which read police, metropolitan police, city of London police, city police and British transport police and all the pcsos varients, Keep it up. Newfoundking
Scripts as such as relatively easy and just need creation of two prototypes, that being the basic one and the one with the hivis. Then it's just to point to the prototypes you want to use and you're set.

I think he secretly put a watch manager in because either a watch manager or a station manager is in the courtyard in Fire Station 1. Will this version work in Multiplayer as the other versions haven't or will we have to use Himachi still etc. Will Paramedics have standby point too or not? XTXTactics
I'm not sure how sorry but it was a private edit I guess? But you probably make your own sirens in a program thing and then import it in to the files?
