2 Problems- Immediate Crashing and Mod installation

Ok so we'll start with the crashing. Lately this has been off and on. Ill install the game (which by the way is amazing) and it will install just fine and then all of a sudden one day it will crash after a black screen appears right after u click on the EM4 icon. So ill re install it and it will work for a bit and then the next day it does the same thing. Any ideas on a fix or know wats going on?

Second problem. When i do get the game running i try to install the LA Mod but wen ever i open the mod installer it says "Emergency 4 was not properly installed. Please re-install." But no matter how many times i re-install it still gives me that message. Can anyone help me out? I love this game and would like to keep playing it!

There's a lot of things that say not found.

command icon mod:UI/Game/Icons/Commands/AimedShot_disable.dds not found

command icon mod:UI/Game/Icons/Commands/DropWithCrane_over.dds not found

cursor mod:UI/Game/Icons/Cursor/DropWithCrane.dds not found

There is more that says this as well. Could this be the problem?

Sorry had testweek on school, did read everything, but didn't have the time to reply to every request. Yesterday I was at the fire station so I planned a catching up day today. Thanx for helping out
