njboy13
I personally don't like the look of it, but if it serves it's purpose as a rescue ambulance, then it's perfect

Xplorer4x4
Lol 100% Mercedes sprinter:D only the grill changedLet see, Mercedes is owned by Chrysler(Daimler, call it what you want), Dodge is owned by Chrysler..I missed the humor. All the companies do it in America.Ford Crown Vic/Mercury Gran Marques = Same vehicle both made by ford.Chevy Yukon/GMC Tahoe - Same vehicle made by GMC. Xplorer4x4
There actually larger then the Ford Econolines, and I read an interview awhile back with medics saying there was alot more move to room around so they really like them. nycguy555666
the ambulances are tight width size but the tallness of someone is no problem in it

Commander Rasseru
Maybe some ideas are coming from Asia. Those Japanese manufactures came up a few things themselves. They take Normal Factory Vans and mod them very easy. Making them taller to stand in is always the first thing to do. Also they might be the only ambulances with rear hatch back door. They might not do a a pretty paint job for one. That maybe because they want the money in equipment and trained personnel.http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Mito-ambulance.jpghttp://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Amb...ce-interior.jpghttp://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Jap...d_ambulance.jpghttp://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:3rd...dic-cockpit.jpghttp://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:3rd...dicinterior.jpghttp://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Gyoda-ambulance.jpg
917893678251
Well, china has the same small ambulances too, actually China has a variety of models such as fords, mercedes, hyundais, volkswagens and more. One of their major design companies for the new ambulances during the Olympics was BAUShttp://www.baus-ambulance.com/index.php?la...=62&kraj=chhttp://www.baus-ambulance.com/index.php?la...=85&kraj=chhttp://www.baus-ambulance.com/index.php?la...=86&kraj=chhttp://www.baus-ambulance.com/index.php?la...=63&kraj=chThis mercedes sprinter high roof ambulance is used a lot through chinese urban cities.http://www.baus-ambulance.com/index.php?la...=64&kraj=chThis is the one china purchased from the Olympics but they recolored it red and orange like the others http://www.baus-ambulance.com/index.php?la...=65&kraj=chYou can see they have a variety by the front page,it's sad India can't have as much ambulances china has,India doesn't even have a national number for ambulances cause their 108 is only for some regions.http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&...t=0&ndsp=
Commander Rasseru
Any way. The main point is that most nations are buying vans and mostly only editing the roof frame to be taller. Because it cheaper and fast to mod.The Standard US Ambulance with a huge rear cargo bay. May cost more to mod and build the frame.
