LA Mod you download from this site in the download section. It depends if you like this sort of game, if you do buy it, if you don't well don't. You do not need it, but it will convert the game from a european/german focus to one that realistically reflects the Los Angeles, CA area. How do you get the La Mod?You can download it from lamod.emergency-planet.com/Is it worth getting?Hoppah, and many others have put forth a great deal of time and energy to fundamentally change the game and add new features, units, and missions not found in the original game. Should I even get 911 first responders, I mean like is it worth it? Is Emergency 4 in a different languag? Is 911 first responders the same as Em4 just in English?911 FR and EM4 are the same game, with 911 FR having the english files included. EM4 Deluxe adds an additional map, missions, and freeplay events, but is not available in English. By adding LA Mod to EM4 Deluxe, much of it becomes english enough to be playable though. Is it worth it? Look around the board, the screen shots, and the community and you'll see that even though the game is quite old in many regards, it still has a very vibrant community playing it and loving it.
