Detach Objects From Models

well i don't know about z modler but in stetchup save first then delete the everything else and save that thing. then go to inport and inport it. might be the same for zmod not sure though.

Select> Quadrant

(Selected Mode) ON

Select em and press Delete....

Export Lightbar as V3O or 3DS and then close out zmod and load your model you want to add the part to.. Make sure you re-assign the UV map to the new vehicle's texture (along with copying the lightbar texture from the old model's texture to the new)...
