Detailed sound fx not working on 911:First Responder

Hi guys,

I just noticed that some of the sound effect are not sounding at all. I did not realised this until my bro start playing this game on his pc I was watching him and I heard many other sounds fx that never been heard before when i run the game on my pc. E.g Helicopter, sirens, hurt people screaming, explosion is never playing. However the music plays ok and some other fx like traffic, fire cracking, acknowledgent, heart beat tools plays allright. Weird, couldn't work out what the differences between our settings. I even tried with la mod, same thing those fx still missing. So any guidance / help will be much appreciated thanks guys.

The PC spec is on the dx diag ffile so i don't have to write it down again i suppose

Can you play the soundfiles in Windows? Out of the game?

I suspect a codec issue
