Guest GB619 Posted April 30, 2009 Report Share Posted April 30, 2009 I have a question,now i know it is not allowed to release re skins of other peoples models,but are we allowed to release re skins of models from the main EM4 game,or is this too not allowed?Edit:the reason i ask,is because in many other games i play,the community have released re skins of the original game models,im not asking to release re skins of models that the Modders have done here. It makes it not private and controlling who has the edits would be a problem.Because sooner or later some one would start passing around the model with a skin on it.Or that some one make a Mod install file without any permissions. Xplorer4x4 Posted April 30, 2009 Report Share Posted April 30, 2009 I dont see why you cant reskin the games default units. Look at the LA Mod, the crane and the bridge layer are both reskins. Some reskin, some may alter the lights, etc. Of course I dont play any other mods then the LA Mod but I am judging from the screen shots.
