bennie900 Posted March 9, 2009 Report Share Posted March 9, 2009 Im trying to make a new fire hydrant, i have a base model and i attach a GTF tube super and every time i want a man to attach a hose it wont connect, this is a simple issue im sure but i cant work it out. Basicaly i want when the fire man connects his house it opens a door (the panel on the floor) and 2 hydrants are in the floor (want them to raise up but animations etc.. i can do it later)Hope you get what i meen.P.S i can see the tube in the editor but when i load a game up, it does not show.Or does some one know how to make one? Where a Fireman has to open the grate and place the hose in the water socket.I also would have to make a built in wall hydrant for some buildings. bennie900 Posted March 10, 2009 Author Report Share Posted March 10, 2009 yeah - connectors called "connector0" etc.. but thing is you can only add childs if its classed as a "vehicle" and doors aswell. Thats why its not working i guess because its not scripted in the game. I also replaced the original hydrant but because its on the floor the connector is placed up off the floor and is floating.
