New buildings

Hi!

I want to ask you 1 question: in which program I can make new buildings? I mean new bases and so on, like the bases in LA Mod. Please, give me the name of that program.

You can use the EM4 Editor or Z-modeler or sketchup. If you want to use Z-modeler or sketchup you do have to do some additional things to change your design into an ingame building. With Z-modeler you need to add a skin to your building (uv-mapping), you can find a tutorial about it in the tutorial section. I'm not a sketchup expert, but I'm sure others can help you with that if you want to use it.

You can place the standard buildings togehter orlet them overlap, creating a "new" building. Just so that it looks different then other buildings. You can also use the parts like concrete fences etc to create new buildings. Before the second fire station was added to the LA MOD I made a semi fire station in the editor that way.

And what are these additional things to get an sketchup to work in the EM4? hmmm?

The additional thing that is required is 3dmax. The reason is because Zmodeler doesn't support any sketchup exported files, so you will have to import it using 3dmax then export... And finally import it on Zmodeler...

:P

Then its a pain to do then :P
