Problem with gameplay

Hello Folks,

Just wondering if anyone els has experianced a problem with the Czech mod / LA Mod.

Duering gameplay the game will crash to desktop - no warning message no errror message. . .

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

(My systems spec is as follows)

Dell Inspiron

ATI Radeon HD 4870x2 Graphics

4GB Ram

1TB HD

Suerley this cannot be a computer spec problem??

yes EM4 is known for it's anti-mod issues it has.. Crash to desktop problems are sometimes fixed through .CFG swaps.. download it here

If it still crashes try finding ways to turn off shadows in game, that usually makes my game at least last a few hours, instead of 30-40 mins.

All you do is download the file, once open you select which version of the game you have EM4 or deluxe, then you select if you have a High-spec (fast system) or low-spec (not so fast) system then you overwrite your .cfg in your main directory with one stan provided and it should work. However, LA mod is the only mod I have been able to get this to work with.

You might want to update your graphic drivers, they date back from 2005!

You can find the latest version on Nvdia's website along with download and install instructions.

Has found the problem decision at Russian forum http://emergency4.3dn.ru/forum/6-98-1. The problem was in universal codecs K-Lite Codec Pack. After their removal even without reboot PC game was loaded. After that and logfile.txt has changed. Can prompt as to adjust K-Lite Codec Pack that more no problems with EM4?

If you are asking if you can adjust the K-LITE pack so that it won't cause any more problems with EM4, I'm not really sure but I don't think that that's possible. A long shot would be trying to reinstall K-lite and set it on a very low priority, whilst letting EM4 run on the highest priority. But I don't think that will work.
