Ive been interested in creating an London Mod for a long time and have been checking out these forums for an equal amount so here goes:

I Will be making a London Mod for EM4, I will be 100% committed to bringing updates/patches to the mod regularly. So i hope to get a team together to start work on it, so if you are a scripter, modeler etc PM me or post here. Ive put several loads of extra ideas onto a document for what can be added in-game. Also, Ive started on some missions ideas too, but whoever joins in on the Mod project all have your say to change them or add ones.

*When Mod is underway, I will open the website & MiniForum.

*When Mod is Released, I hope to release online features along with it too.

Yep, the record 999 Deal of 2007/08 of the mercedes-benz design with demountable box bodies. They are used for greater working spaces for both patient and doctor.

Yer, I know the Mercs (well as it happens) but the UV bodies aren't demountable, I'm confused by what you mean.

I beg to differ, we are used at:

• Duties (local and large). If you see a St John ambulance on blue lights it may well be taking somone from a duty to hospital
  
• To assist in community care and patient transport
  
• We have a childrens intesive care response car and box ambulance to take children from one hospital to a hospital liek great ormond street where they can get the treatment they need
  
• To assist the ambulance service during major events (such as St Patricks day) or major incidents (such as the London Bombings and the Newquay hotel blaze)
  

We do many things and we do training for the local community as well (in things like A.E.D, First Aid at work and so on)

St John is always around

OIC... But for Emergency 4, only your last point is relevant, and then it's not necessary for realism or gameplay.

List Update:

1.The Mercedes-Benz Atego 1224R, has become the primary command unit.

It has replaced the command unit pods and brigade command unit coach. Therefore the older version (Volvo Fl6.14) has been removed from the mod.

2.Quick Shape up of the list has been made and added vehicles.

3.Due to london not really having much major "off-road" areas but EM4 does, the London Fire Brigade Vauxhall Brava/Truckman which is used in winter to provide off-road fire cover, has been added.

1. Bomb Disposal Units have been added. 2 Bomb disposal units have been added; Royal Logistic Corps Unit, which is usually common around london areas these days..and the new Metropolitan Bomb Disposal vehicle; Both of which will have different units each, RLC will have an army RLC engineer; and the Met BD unit having a Met bomb disposal engineer/expert.

2. More list updates coming soon in the next 0-2 days to make it complete.

Successfully made a skin for the BMW vehicle, which will be used as a patrol car, aswell as including armed officers inside. I will finish the skin for the DPG Bmw vehicle in a little while, which is a "red" version of the vehicle, and which is the mods, ARV; armed response vehicle.

jacob1029 will be modeling for us, but we are still in need for modelers, due to the mod having a large selection of units. so if anyone can model please pm me or post here, all help will be appreciated.

By the way for those of you who dont know DPG is Diplomat Protection Group,they are a part of the Metropolitian police,sometimes they are reffered to as SO16 (You may of heard of that). Their job is the diplomatic protection of London, eg. 10 downing street, official embassies and so on. They do not carry out normal policing duties and this is showed by their red vehicles.

they do assist usual Ministry of Defence routines like escorting nuclear items, but only like once in a 1,000,000. They just follow/guard the "important people" and "important areas", like the princes for example. Your one sounds right though (sometimes).

Got a lil update for everyone..

General Update:

1. Got a new computer today, so i will be transferring every to it, ALSO! i will be backing up ALL files for the mod regulary via dvd data disks and a usb memory stick i bought today, incase of any problems. Because ive seen alot of mods go down hill due to data loss.

Just to let everyone know, the mods in safe hands!!

2. Secondly, I think the mod WONT be as big as the list, it will be finished by next year christmas if it did. So the first version will be smaller, with the updates being released regulary with the new additions to the mod.

3. Due to London not usually have a Mass Casualty Unit or a Police command unit, Il be looking into this further. There IS a mass casualty - ish, unit; and there IS a police command unit in london, But they are not regular vehicles, always different vehicles, very very rarely seen. The police command vehicles always vary, not always being a met, ive seen an hampshire command unit here. And ive never seen a Mass casualty vehicle here in london, so it will be hard to find.

Mass casualty units, as such, don't exist in the UK (short of a 205 bus) - LAS's response to a majax would be more along the lines of equipment tenders & C3.
