Guest Major_Stiffy Posted June 14, 2008 Report Share Posted June 14, 2008 Hi my friend and I are being sheep and trying to make a mod of our states vehicles. I use blender quite a bit and am VERY familiar with modeling and uv mapping; however, I am having a HUGE problem importing anything into blender from E4(Actually 911 first responders). Am I barking up the wrong tree here? The places I'm trying to open models from is the model and prototype directories with file extentions of .V3O and .DDS. Is this the ACTUAL extentions of the files or were they something else like .3ds or .obj renamed to .v3o or .dds, or am I totally in the wrong place. MikeyPI Posted June 14, 2008 Report Share Posted June 14, 2008 .V3O is the actual file extension of the model files, people here commonly use a program called Zmodeler 2 to import and export the files. .DDS is the texture format used in this game, again you need to export the file out of the .DDS format.
