Warning when game starts

When I start EM4 I receive the following message:

WARNING: Emergency 4 has detected that some important installation files are corrupted... This error could have a negative input on the stability of the game. We reccomend reinstalling the game.

This happened after I edited the fp_params_endless.xml file in the /Specs folder. I was trying to slow down the emergency calls and allow more parking space for emergency vehicles in the freeplay game (which by the way did not work).

What am I doing wrong and how can I make sure that warning message does not appear?

Furthermore I tried deinstalling and reinstalling the game but the changes in the edited xml file remained the same.

So:

- What am I doing wrong while editing the .xml file?

- How can I make sure the warning does not appear anymore?

- How do I reinstal the game without the changes remainging?

I have the french version of the game version 1.3.

Any time you edit the files in the game it those this.

One way is to uninstall the game and then delete the install folder. Then reinstall. To be extra safe change the file name.

If you want to change something you need to do it as a mod.

I changed these lines

<MinDurationBetweenEvents value = "30.0" /> to <MinDurationBetweenEvents value = "60.0" />

and

<MaxParkingSpace value="35" /> to <MaxParkingSpace value="150" />
