Guest Kupuham
Hi!I'm having problems running 911:First Responders.I run the desktop shortcut, a Window is created, screen goes black, nothing happens for 10-20 seconds, I am back to the desktop again.Uninstalled the game, booted, same problem.Uninstalled FFmpeg and the other filter, as suggested by another topic, didnt work.Used the config files on the site(made sure to change the language to US), also didnt work.Installed a .ogg codec, booted, re-installed the game, same problem.Just to say I did not try everything, uninstalled the game, booted, intalled, booted again, jumped on my left foot twice, clapped hands three times, and same error again.Desperate attempt 2: Intalled Los Angeles Mod, Still crashes in the same way: Just back to desktop, no error messages....Computer config:P4 3.0 Ghz1 gb ramRadeon X550 cardWin XpAny suggestions?(Logfile attached)logfile.txt

Guest Kupuham
Well how would that be?I have the 7.10 Drivers, downloading the 7.11 now, but the game is supposed to work even with GeForce 3 series, which date from 2001!Maybe if I find some other OpenGL drivers? Guest __Uknow__
yup you need opengl for the game https://support.ati.com/ics/support/default...amp;folderID=

Stan
Still the same errors, is your graphic card an "on-board" or a normal graphic card? and is your pc laptop or a computer?Another thing, where did you get the game from? Guest Kupuham
Its a normal one, my pc is a normal computer.I bought it from a physical store, but why is that relevant? Also, I cant play the video files on the game folder, not with Windows Media Player, even with ogg codecs, but the files play normaly on Media Player Classic. Could that be relevant?
Stan
Then theres something wrong with your mpg1 codec. This can happen if you install mobile software like Samsung pc studio that comes with corrupt mpg codecsWhere did you exactly buy it? Because I noticed your windows is spanisch so i suppose you're from spain. So you where able to buy it while not in USa and that would be interesting info for other visitors. Guest Kupuham
Windows is actually in Portuguese, and I'm in Brazil. After Uninstalling Samsung's software, where would I be able to find the mpeg1 codecs? Also, how would relate that to the apparent video card incapacity? Stan
The game needs working codecs, if those codes are not installed or corrupted, it crashes.Once samsung pc studio is uninstalled, start the game
Guest Kupuham
Yes!!Thanks a lot, it worked!Would never have thought that the Samsung software could be the culprit! Thanks again!Taking advantage of the topic, Is there anyway to play the game in Windowed mode? So I can watch some other things while I play? Stan
I didn't try it out but, if you right click on the 911 First Responders and you click on parameters you should see "run". The you can set the modes
