How to reduce game speed?

Hi there,

I've installed EM4 Deluxe on my computer after a downgrade from Vista to XP SP2.

The thing is that the gameplay is now incredibly fast: cars seem to be driving like in Indianapolis and pedestrians are running. Gamespeed in the lower menu is set to normal.

EM4 Deluxe installation with no further mod.

I haven't found any similar problem in the old posts.

Can you help me?
