I know it's out of topic but what happened to the city of angels mod?

I remember about two years ago it was in development is it canceled or is this a replacement?

City of Angels is a private mod, and Project Nostalgia is a submod of the original LA mod.

City of Angels is Itchboys test bed for new scripts. So it may be a mod we all want. We have to understand that it is probably unstable.

I wouldn't say it goes to waste, because it is used to make sure his other mods are released working well.

I agree that watching videos of it (like from The Northern Alex) definitely make me want to play it, but we have to check our entitlement and realize if itchboy for whatever reason doesn't want to release it then he doesn't have to (and he probably has a very good reason not to).

I only recently started posting but I have been a lurker in this community for a long time. I have learned that patience is a virtue and the best things are worth waiting for (example: Miami Mod).

You're in luck; I have one of those planned.

I grew up playing NFS and that car always came up (along with the Eclipse, Integra and RX7). I absolutely can't wait to get to making some 80s-90s tuner cars.

For full transparency, I am about 8 out of 34 cars into the civilian replacement phase of this submod. That might seem small, but 8 scratch made models in about 3 months is pretty fast, I'd say.

Jeep Cherokee texture and wheels by Ibarra. Aerodynic lightbar by EmC Unit and rihis. SWAT SUV board texture by Hoppah. All other work by me.

That lightbar was a mindfuck. Pardon the language but for a long time I thought of it to be a pair of "mini" Twinsonics.

I was wrong.

It's actually a unique model of a fullsize 44 (or 48 inch) Code3 SD with the center section removed to allow for the fitting of a fullsize 100 watt speaker which would otherwise not fit within the metal center section.

The process of getting info on the lightbar was wild: I found it in the most unusual of places: Retro Las Vegas Metro Police cars.

With these in mind, no I do not have any plans for retro Las Vegas. However if anybody else wants to try it out for themselves, I will gladly provide whatever support I can.

No problem. There's a great view of the split twinsonic, as well as some other early 80s LAFD units, in ABC's emergency clone "Code Red". A plethora of clips, albeit low quality, exist on YouTube if you're in need of more references.
