xarucardx Posted September 21, 2019 Report Share Posted September 21, 2019 Hi guys, I recently bought the game Emergency 4 on steam. But it's just giving me a headache. I spent over 5 hours testing the game and with MODS it is impossible to play. Frame Rate at 25fps and when you have many units of any kind (medical, fire) and many lights the FPS drops to 15! It can't be my computer, this is a game that runs on any potato PC. FX 8300 RX 570 4GB GDDR5 8GB DDR3 I run games like the witcher, man of medan, including: Emergency 20 in high with no problem! I have 10gb ddr3 ram with a intel xeon and an radeon r9 270x but my game lags like crazy. I have searched everywhere and cant find a solution sadly. itchboy Posted November 24, 2019 Report Share Posted November 24, 2019 Based on all the reports, the only conclusion I can draw is that Em4 does not like the drivers of modern GPUs and CPUs. Yeah I have looked everywhere and noticed no one has a real solution its unfortunate though. But I think it might be an issue with radeon cards because a youtuber, TheNorthernAlex also play em4 still and has no lag at all so I might see if I can get him to talk in the comments and say what he had to do if anything at all. itchboy Posted November 25, 2019 Report Share Posted November 25, 2019 I checked the German forums and they report that newer AMD cards cause problems for them too. They also reported that Nvidia cards have no issues, but also some Nvidia cards are non functioning. The biggest failure of the developers of the game is their inability to patch the game to work with modern hardware.
