ALL mods take time to load. You will experience a black screen for roughly 10 minutes, depending on the size of the mod, before you are booted to the main menu and able to play. The website is run and opertated by the german community, so there's no other alternative because they own that place. You also need to sign up to their website to be able to DL anything.
