dunwell99D Posted May 10, 2016 Report Share Posted May 10, 2016 This mod is based upon TACRfan's Kent Modification as of yet I will not be releasing this mod as it is a WIP and will be for some time, I will pre-warn people that I'm new to modding and I am learning as I go along. To start with I'm mainly re-skinning Vehicles or editing Vehicle skins, personnel skins etc. any advice or constructive criticism is welcome, I will try to update you as much as I can with screenshots, information on what I'm planning. When I consider the time right and I have permission from TACRfan to release a beta version of the mod, alpha testing will be carried out by a closed group. Side note: Hampshire Police Firearms, Traffic, Dogs and FSU (Force Support Unit) are a part of the Joint Operations Unit with Thames Valley Police. The thing is Hants Pol/Fire and SCAS don't use most of the vehicles that are in the Kent Mod. Hampshire Fire and Rescue definitely don't use Scania's. If you want any photo's or video's of emergency services in Hampshire feel free to look around my Twitter and YouTube. Anyways good luck and don't get overwhelmed by the mod. Its been reported by a lot of people now, that attachments are broken, hyperlinks to most sites dont work either. Same goes for images posted here that are not from imgur or imageshack. Probably something to do with the new forum software not being configured properly. Hopefully the admins (above moderators) sort that one out. I am also trying to learn modding and modelling in general and hope you do well. I basically agree with 999 Tom, while you have some nice details in the reskins, if you want to keep the mod as realistic as possible then you are going to have to remove many units and add new ones. I know the Sussex mod had kept a lot of units but I believe the Kent and Sussex forces are similar and he has added many new units too. I know that we don't use scania vehicles its just I'm not any where confident enough with modelling and I cant find models for the correct vehicles, but if you or anyone you is confident with modelling please let me know so that I can get as accurate of models as possible. Extra info that mod will mainly be based around the units available in Portsmouth Hampshire which do use the same SCAS and police vehicles. If anyone that is active on this submod forum knows of a good modeler could you ask them to try and make the vehicles in this clip. Many content posters have been warned for doing the same acts as you have. What matters though, is that when posting content, you are doing it in accordance to rules. Thread owners get more liniency than if the thread wasnt yours, but constantly bumping yourself up every 3 or 4 hours isnt reasonable behavior either. The attachments, all images linked from other sites as well, automatically convert themselves from text to images. It affects all posts, moderators logs and warnings, admin announcements too.
