Firefighter Sipe
I noticed in the one ocean city mod the firehoses are a bright yellow. Is it possible to paint them and how do you do it ?
mariuswww
In the Textures folder you can find a Hose.dds. This is the texture for the firehose. If no Texture folder is inside the mod folder, it can be copied from Data (main game) - and Textures.

Firefighter Sipe
One more question not quite related to my own topic...is there a forum somewhere on how to place road names on the roads of the LA Mod Map?
mariuswww
One more question not quite related to my own topic...is there a forum somewhere on how to place road names on the roads of the LA Mod Map?You will need the map texture for that (.tga file). It is unfortunatly not possible to convert the eft back into a tga. So you will need the "original" map texture.

Newfoundking
And yes, you unlock a file by changing the extension to v3o and using unpack file from the modifications menu
