The most new people here don´t learn and do anything on their own. Thats the truth and thats why we have that much submods and that very few actual new mods. And thats why the forum is actually dying. Look at the german community and how much stuff they´ve did. You can easily find 30 3D models just for different Mercedes-Benz Trucks. Cars not included. The majority of any game modding community is going to be people with limited skills, so a small community will have even less skilled creators to notice. Those are some reasons things are dying around here. The conflict between the tier of creators has not helped at all, of course, with those on both sides moving on. Those who could improve also lose their interest, along with many end users who become discouraged when content they're looking forward to dies off. But there if someone is reskinning a mod everyone is like nice, here its more like "Ugh, ANOTHER reskin". That the more english modding is dying out is more because the reactions, tons of fights etc which are on this forum. Like this year, How many fights over mod where there? This forum doesn't seem to be packed with modders as Times Square during New Year's eve so let's not be so picky about community content.
