999madtom
I have bought GTA IV and have downloaded the mods. It says I need a Windows Live account to save the game and other things but Windows Live has shut down. I have looked on the online tutorials to play but they don't work. Please help. randomperson139
Windows Live changed to Outlook. Do you have an existing hotmail/outlook account? If not, have you tried creating a new outlook account and using that? By the way, I moved the topic to the Other Games part of the Off Topic section. The Other Emergency Games section is more for the EM games that don't have a dedicated part of the forum.

randomperson139
I assumed that was what you meant. I don't see any reason why using an Outlook account instead wouldn't work, it is still the same service. Do you have an existing Xbox Live account? You can use an Xbox account to sign in to Games for Windows Live.
BeastyBill88
Yeah its the same service, so it should work. It was actually MSN which had been shut down as it was merged with Skype. I have 2 windows live accounts and both work fine.
piloto19hh
Yep, Games For Windows Live hasn't shut down. Just download it from the official Microsoft's website. If you have an email address from Microsoft (like @hotmail.com) you can use it. Sent from my LG-E610v using Tapatalk
