Zhaine1989
One thing that annoyed me about the Emergency games so far is that you can only use the turntable ladder to rescue people and not manually raise the ladder to fight fires in buildings like they do in real life. Do you know if this has been fixed in Emergency 5? Or will we finally get a hydraulic platform engine like below?
godra
I won't expect anything exciting in this case. I haven't seen the ladder ingame, but in my opinion they will choose the simplest solution and that's the standard ladder as known of EMERGENCY 3 / 4. MikeyPI
They are not going to change the game's functions to be more manual in that respect, I can pretty much assure you of that. This game isnt a simulation, so you can bank they will stick with simple functions like the straight basket on the end of the ladder as has been seen in previous versions of the game. I do not see them making a more complex ladder just because it looks cooler when still the bulk of ladder functions are done in the traditional way. Realize they aint re-inventing the wheel when it comes to EM5. I would expect a bit more "intelligent" function of the game, with a very minor change to the way you go about doing things in the game, and mostly a graphical improvement. I would not expect this game to become a simulator in any way what so ever to where you have the option to choose how to deploy and why.
