Justin Miller Posted October 12, 2014 Report Share Posted October 12, 2014 I'm playing a mod and whenever a fire gets to big it kicks me out of the game and says mission failed, how do i stop it from doing this? theres many times where im playing and it says "a forest fire has broken out" and before i can even roll any units it kicks me out and says mission failed. please help me fix this is annoys me Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have noticed it with a few different ones that the challenge mode XML is used for endless and MP which causes that message when a fire gets too big. Its a good possibiliy that is what may have happened.Ah ok, I must have missed that. Yeah all you have to do is copy the whole of one XML and paste it into the other one. Unless of course this copy of the mod was modified in some way.It could have been, Which Boston mod is it? Flnns one or the Boston mod guys version? Its an easy fix though, all you have to do it copy the freeplay_endless.xml from another mod which works without the mission failed message and apply to the Boston mod specs folder.
