Handsup!
Hi! One reason I love playing Welfordshire Mod is because of the wide range of command units available; from Watch Managers to Station Managers to plain ol' Crew Managers, and then they have all different vests like Safety Officer. So I'm wondering, can anyone tell me how they work?

met police999
I'm not 100% sure but it's pretty self explanatory crew manager is in charge of a crew, watch manager a watch (like shifts) and station manager a station. As for the vests I'm guessing when on attending a major incident the can take up different roles like safety officer for example

BeastyBill88
So I'll translate into AmericanCrew manager=Driver Operator/EngineerWatch Manager=Captain or LieutenantStation Manager=Battalion ChiefI think the crew manager would be a Captain in the USA, as you have appliance driver/operator I think its called here. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
Fred03
Probably lieutenant then.
BeastyBill88
I can't remember does LT come before Captain? If so then it is probably LT that is the crew manager.
Fred03
Yeah, firefighter- lieutenant- captain- battalion chief-district/assistant chief- fire chiefThat's the usual system in the US, some areas have different setups of upper officers but Lt is always under captain. My VFD for example has a Lt, captain, assistant and full chief and that's it.
