Lights Alternating Double Flash

Hey guys, 

 

I have just recently started trying out putting lights on vehicles, and I have mostly gotten the hang of it.

 

I have one question, though--

 

I have been trying to get the light on the right mirror to flash two or three times, then switch to the left and do the same thing (with the LED effect). I have been trying to use Bama's engine as an example, and even if I have the light settings exactly the same, there isn't enough delay to let one light flash twice before it switches to the other side.

the best way to do this is to have two lights placed on top of one another and set the delay for them both so one goes then the other, as to whether it will hold long enough for both flashes before the other one goes requires some tweaking

Left lights: delay 0.0 and delay 0.5 (or a bit lower)

Right lights delay 1.0 and delay 1.5 (or a bit lower)

 

Try something like that to make them alternate (left lights double flash first, then right lights double flash).

1 more question, for some reason the lights on the explorer I'm working on won't turn on until I add a light to the car.

 

With other vehicles the lights turn on right when i put them on the grid..

I'm not sure what you mean? Did you set the type of those lights to 'Bluelight'?
