A_StandardToaster
Hello, My apologies if this topic doesn't really belong here—I think it's the best choice. When in Freeplay, after apparatus have arrived on the scene of a fire, I typically get them parked up appropriately, then I rapid deploy. My problem is, the handlines used by FFs after rapid deploy and the water spraying sound effect are at least twice as loud as the game volume. This isn't really a big deal when I'm using my speakers normally, but when I'm using headphones (which is most of the time when I'm on my computer) it's so loud it's painful. The volume goes back to normal if I move my view so that the firefighters are on the very edge of the screen. Does anyone know how to fix this? Also, this occurs in all mods as well as vanilla EM4. Newfoundking
This owuld be under your sound settings, possibly under SFX settings. Adjust the volume knobs until it's comfortable.
A_StandardToaster
I have all of my volume settings in game adjusted already. I don't think it has to do with that, because if I were to turn down the volume enough for the hoses to be tolerable, the rest of the game would be very quiet. Xplorer4x4
Technically you could use a program like Audacity(I think thats the name, been awhile, basically an audio editing program) to adjust the volume level on these particular sound effects.
