Oberfrankengamer
Hi, for a few years iam modding emergency. In this thread i want to inform you what i've achieved so far and what will happen in the future. In this modification i want to model my local village and the area around it as close as possible.I use alot of standart emergency models with high definition textures. Here some screenshots: Part2 Many of the buildings consist of walls und fences with new textures and are attached together in a long time. I've made a video for those who are interested in that technice: (Video is speed up. Took me more than 50 minutes to complete!)A picture showing the amount of objects i use on my maps/scenes:The mod includes only countryside volunteer firefighter stations, so there are many small units like:I also made an completly new user interfaceNew light effects on fires in the night!Ladder at a roof fire

Oberfrankengamer
The effect is done via scripting and the standart lighting features of emergency. Some screenshots:Fire in a Barn. Notice how close the buildings are standing together. Fire can spread rapidly if you don't react quick enough. Older video of an container fire: And a newer one:

rettungstier
sorry bro, aber die idee mit den einzelnen objekten und wänden beim häuserbau könnte ich klauen ^^ansonsten, wie gewohnt mega qualität. trosdorf verfolge ich im deutschen em forum schon seit dem ersten post! eng:(sorry bro, but i might steal that object and wall idea for building houses ^^anyway, awesome quality. i've been following your trosdorf mod thread on the german forums from the first post) greetz, rett
Dyson
Very nice, my main compliment is definitely the quality of your map and texture, I think my only constructive criticism would be to rethink the roads texture, looks too cartoon like for such a beautiful map excellent work x
Hoppah
Hmm, what did you change to the fires to make the new lighting? He probably used the particle editor which is provided with the EM4 editor. You can change particles quite easy, although there are a ton of settings. The map looks good. Any particular reason why the interface is different in the video? What does your mod add gameplay wise?
Oberfrankengamer
I have to explain a few things to this video, in order that you understand what i'm doing. In the first few seconds the engine arrives at the scene. The car gives the status that the HQ knows that. The vehicle commander gets out and sends the engine into a better position. After that he goes out and checks out whats going on. We have here a fire in some garbage bins. The commander returns to the engine and the crew gets out of it. The driver starts the pump of the car and the crew begins the fire fighting. Because the fire is so close to the building i send a person in to check out whats going on inside. He responds that there is no fire but it smells burnt. However he can not confirm that there is no fire in the subceiling. We need a thermal imaging camera to checkt that out. The HQ is informed that this is needed (this engine doesn't have a camera onboard). The next fire station with an camera gets alarmed. Since we have here volunteer fire fighters they need some time until they turn out and get to the scene. At 6:21 they ask if scba is needed at the scene. Because i think that there is no fire i deny that. If i had said that i need scba, they would grab their equipment and get it on. The engine arrives at the scene, 1 firefighter grabs the thermal imaging camera and checks the house. It turns out that there is no fire.

TacticalRooster22
I don't know anything about modding, but I do know that you could replace the Vehicles and voices etc from any mod... (Submod)Yeah, but with a mod like this it's harder to do because there are so many new scripts and such. It's more than just the models which makes it harder to replace them.
