Noble Nathan
Hi, my 911 first responders mod installer isn't working, when i double click on it to open it, it says that it isn't installed properly. I first had 911FR on one computer and it all worked fine, including the mod installer, but then i put the Wizard Works folder on a hard drive and put it on my other computer and now it isn't working. What do i do, if i have to re-install it, can someone please give me the link to it, and is there another way of installing mods without the mod installer. Thanks
Miercolini
I would try this link, it might be the registry since you just re installed it. The mod installer from wizard workers has a tendency to not automaticly do this during installation of the game. http://forum.emergency-planet.com/topic/14387-modinstallerexe-will-not-work-911-first-responders-from-amazon/ <---- Someone should really pin this link already, there just so many topics on this Problem Solved, see below how I got it to work. I did this both for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and HKEY_CURRENT_USER1. Re-install 911 First Responders to C:\Program Files (x86)\sixteen tons entertainment\Emergency 4 instead of the default directory.2. Start regedit by selecting Start - Run, typing in 'regedit' and thenhitting 'OK'.3. Select 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE' and press the '+' button to its left toexpand the list.4. Next, select 'SOFTWARE' and press the '+' button to its left to expandthe list.5. Right-click on 'SOFTWARE' and select New > Key.Enter the new key name: sixteen tons entertainment6. Right-click on 'sixteen tons entertainment' and select New > Key.Enter the new key name: Emergency 47. Right-click on 'Emergency 4' and select New > String value.Enter the new key name: Installdir8. Right-click on 'Installdir' and select Modify. In the 'Value Data' field, C:\Program Files (x86)\sixteen tons entertainment\Emergency 4Now, exit the registry editor by selecting the File menu and then clickingon Exit. Also, and it isn't just at you, but if you look right under the pinned stuff, there is like 4-5 threads already existing regarding problems with the mod installer. Just helps avoid this thread being repeated + you might find some other solutions there.
