Adding police units to the freeplay map; there are two freeplay maps....

I always forget which freeplay map to update when I'm placing police cars on the map. So I have two questions: which map in the list is the one to update (because there are two.) and how do I edit the map so that I can add police units to the map?

It's EM4.  I can't remember off hand... but I believe it's 'freeplaymap' or something like that. There are two of them that show up in the Editor. I seem to recall that I need to only overwrite one of them but couldnt remember which one....

You're talking about maps with duplicate names?

freeplay.e4mfreeplay.e4m

The first one in the list is the one from your modification. The other one is the default map file in the Data folder.

 

Simply load the map, place the objects on the map and don't forget to save the map again.
