DEVILSHADOWWOLF Posted August 9, 2013 Report Share Posted August 9, 2013 Hi, i installed 911 FR yesterday and it is crashing to desktop i have tried everything: running as admin, reinstallation of the game, running in windows xp sp 2 and 3 compatibility, disabling high scale disposition render all that stuff and my drivers are at the latest version. heres my log file. hope someone can help me fix this issue because i really love this game and i want to play it. also heres my dxdiag file.logfile.txtDxDiag.txt Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm not sure if this is the problem, but you have DirectX11 and EM4 requires DirectX9 DirectX11 is backwards-compatible with DirectX9, so technically this shouldn't be the issue. MedicalByte Posted August 14, 2013 Report Share Posted August 14, 2013 Some people have been able to successfully run this installer for DirectX9 on Windows 8.
