squamishfire
I am curious to see how many departments are starting to use Positive Pressure attack or at least venting the place before they make entry. My old department only does that now. We will not make entry inless we do a Possitive pressure attack. I also know that most British Columbia Lower mainland departments are trying to do it as well.here is a site answering some Q and A on PPA: http://www.fireengineering.com/articles/2007/11/positive-pressure-attack-questions-and-answers.htmlso yea I am curious. Does your department us PPA?
erfd
Its a situational where I'm at. Typically first due will pull a line and make entry. The second due is often right behind 1st due and starts ventilation ops. If all goes right, by the time 1st due is making entry, 2nd due will be performing horizontal or vertical ventilation.
