MikeB
Hi! Thank you for taking your time to help me out on this!I bought my game from amazon, (911 First Responders) I had this game before from another website but I had to rebuy it.I have played the La Mod, the NY mod, and a Submod, all very fun, and great to play! But the situation is this:I download the la and manhattan mods, and the computer says I have the mods on here, but when I go onto the gameand press "Modifications" the games do not show up, it lets me go into the option but its just the original game in there. The LA Mod V2.1 does say"Setup could not find a valid installation ofEmergency 4 or 911:First Responders and is unable to find a location to install the mod!Press OK to continue setup."But the Manhattan mod said it downloaded fine but I still could not play it.I'm wondering If I installed the mods wrong? The LA Mod is pretty straight foward to download and the Manhattan mod is as well.(I did try doing run and regedit), and also I tried to unistall and reinstall.Any help would be appreciated, thank you very much. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Computer Name: OwnerOperating System: Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600)Language: English (Regional Setting: English)System Manufacturer: GATEWAYSystem Model: W3507BIOS: Default System BIOSProcessor: Intel® Celeron® D CPU 3.20GHZMemory: 446MB RAMPage file: 688MB used, 361MB availableDirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
Handsup!
Did you browse to your correct location? I'm fairly sure the default directory is the European version (EM4) which is a different path, try reinstalling but browsing to your folder with the game in. theparanoid
I believe the install for 911 first responders isC:\program files\911 - First RespondersNot 100% sure because I always install all games to Games folder either on c or e drive. Depending on if it goes on ssd drive or not.
MikeB
Ohhhh, okay. For some reason it seems like mine comes up as Emergency 4.Also, when I go into browse, it comes up as a folder asEmergency 4then - Modsthen - Los Angeles Mod V2.1And - Manhattan Modification 2.0.1And both of those have a drop down menu as well. So I can see that both of them were downloaded on there, but still don't want to play for me.Also your right I am reinstalling it again and it came up as C:\Program Files\WizardWorks\911 - First Responders. .. So I'm gonna download it again and see if the mods will download to that. thank you. Thanks for any help and comments guys . I'll let you know how it turns out.Update: the la mod worked, yes! The manhattan one did not though, any suggestions?Thank you!!!

MikeB
It says it downloads, but when I go to modifications during the game it doesn't show up.
