cnyle
I searched to find my answer but no topics were found. What I would like to know is, after I'm finished on a fire scene do I send my rigs back to the station or head quarters? The reason I'm asking is I've just gotten a good start on this game and a few things aren't real clear to me. Today after doing some free play, I would choose station or head quarters, but only a few of my units actually returned to the station. If they didn't go there where did they go? Fred03
Which game are you playing? (LA mod, NY mod, Winterberg mod)
Handsup!
In most mods, send back to station ONLY if you ordered them to the scene from the station, and didn't call them in via the little tab on the bottom. IF you called them in via the tabs, send them back to HQ.
cnyle
Alright that makes sense, one thing I forgot to mention. While playing and after I send a unit back, I will notice it saying no parking spaces available. I know in my fp_params it is set to 90 spaces max. I did not mention, but this is the NY mod. Thanks. Fred03
Yeah, just dispatch the units from the station and send them back to the station when you are done. The units that are already in the stations on the map should be sufficient to handle most of your fire-EMS emergencies. However police and tec will have to be called from off map(tabs). With the police either send them to patrol or send them to the station. With tec just call them from off map use them and send them back to HQ. When you need them again just do the same.
