Ace Posted January 31, 2013 Report Share Posted January 31, 2013 When me and my friend try to play mods online it says "using different files" even though we both freshly re-installed the game.The only mulitiplayer things that works is the default emergency 4 "mod". kicks270 Posted February 2, 2013 Report Share Posted February 2, 2013 As far as I know, Everything in that mod folder has to be the same pretty much, like capitol letters, edited files, etc..... Only a select few files can be edited without causing problems. Make sure both mods are installed correctly, and that both of you have that mod loaded...sometimes that is the case lol. Also make sure the directory is the same where the mod is located, just in case someone has the mod in another folder that isn't supposed to be there.Im sure you know most of this, just puttin ideas out there Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
