I'm sorry but when someone takes the time to create something and share it with everyone they should be entitled to go their own route with it, if someone has a different vision perhaps either attempt to customize a mod or make one from the ground up. These things take a huge amount of time and effort, using up a lot of free time in personal lives around education/work. Any progress will be shown when it's ready.
